America’s discovery is one of the greatest things that could have ever happened to, this world. It brought about animals, plants, and microbes. Recent books show closer looks as to how the new world, such as potatoes, worms, guano, and rubber, quickly transformed the rest of the world. Turkeys, tobacco, and potatoes came to Europe from America, in exchange the Europeans brought horses wheat and measles. They also brought earth worms to America which started spreading all of the world. Wherever the worms would show up, started bringing about new landscape that started spreading all over the world and that is one of the ways America changed the world.
