Rural women as catalyst for solving maternal health challenges in developing countries: A case of Northern Nigeria
Paper details This is a qualitative research done in rural parts of northern Nigeria, which examined the impact of education and women empowerment on maternal health services such as contraceptive use and antenatal care and place of delivery. The result showed that if these women are educated and empowered, their utilisation of these services will increase and maternal health outcomes will improve.
