Any venture involving the proposed acquisition of a target company, and subsequently integrating the acquiree into the larger purchasing organization, will inevitably entail some risk due to the many potential challenges and uncertainties inherent in the process and eventual outcome. For this deliverable, your group will perform a risk analysis by evaluating the risk factors facing the parent (acquiring) company if it moves forward with the proposed acquisition. The key is to identify the major risk exposures and also recommend specific tools, technologies, processes, procedures, or policies that might be implemented to mitigate, or in some way manage, the posed risks. Your group will submit a brief written report to document your risk management plan, including the key elements of your risk analysis. *This must also include a risk control matrix.
